We got involved with this lovely barn conversion due to the rear elevation wall being 5m below ground and some water ingress coming into the property after heavy rainfall.
Due to this and the further risk of running water we installed a cavity drain membrane system (Type C System) to all walls within the barn from ground floor to first floor roof including the complete floor area and drainage channel to take any water away by gravity.
Due to the membrane having to be directly plastered too due to planning authorities, We had to install thousands of fixings to get this tight enough to be able to be plastered.
