Our client requested a pre-purchase inspection on this property they was purchasing due to damp being picked up in their home buyers survey, this was so they were fully aware of the condition of the property and costs of any works required before going ahead with buying the property.
Drysafe provided a full service starting with collecting keys from the estate agent, undertaking the survey, discussions with the client and providing a detailed report which included specification and full costs. This enabled the client to renegotiate the purchase price accordingly.
On completion of the property purchase, Drysafe carried out all required works which included removal of all internal wall plaster which was very damp, injection of a cream chemical damp proof course and specialist re-plastering.
The contract was completed on time and handed back to the client for them to redecorate and for skirting to be installed once their new hard flooring was laid.
Tom & his team were brilliant from start to finish, they were all friendly, approachable, efficient & professional. At every point during the work Tom took the time to explain all aspects, give advice & realistic time frames, the end result was outstanding as was their work ethic of arriving when they said the would & always clearing up before they left.
